The Melodies

of Piedmont Park

Engaging in leisurely walks through the park has become an endearing passion of mine. The ebb and flow of temperature in the weather, intertwined with the ever-evolving presence of local wildlife and flora, weave a profound connection with my emotional well-being. In an effort to encapsulate these park excursions as if they were entries in a diary, I utilize an assortment of charming cookie boxes. Amidst the tranquil setting of the park, I channel my inner child, adorning the lids of these cookie boxes with a whimsical and poetic flair to convey my observations and emotions. This endeavor transforms each visit into a vibrant tapestry of my connection with nature and my inner world.

Lively Summer Park

Summer's playground, let's commence the play,

With music's symphony, we dance through the day.

Fluffy clouds aloft, as the sun's rays gleam,

Hearts ignite, basking in the warm sunbeam.

Golden rays caress the emerald ground,

Passion's whirlwind, our spirits unbound.

Glistening bodies shine, beneath skies so true,

A little pup's joy, in each step it renews.

Aroma's spell, laughter's sweet delight,

In this vibrant canvas, hearts take flight.

After the Rain

In the park, a canvas washed and bright,

Raindrops' dance, nature's refreshing rite.

Leaves and mud entwine, a fragrant brew,

A soothing bath, the earth anew.

A gentle breeze conducts, through branches tall,

Rain's symphony, a lullaby's call.

Worms emerge, seeking wonders untold,

In rain's embrace, their tales unfold.

Grass dances with glee, each droplet it retains,

A playful journey, where water remains.

Raindrops linger, like jewels in the air,

Nature's tears, shimmering with care.

Serene Evening Park

In the park at dusk, the sky's a sight,

A canvas of colors, a magical light.

Leaves whisper softly, as shadows creep,

Nature's secrets awakened from their sleep.

The park is hushed, no noise or fuss,

Nature's symphony envelops us.

It calms my restless mind, whispers in kind,

Filling me with peace that's intertwined.

Leaves descend like feathers, a serene dance,

Grass sways in harmony, nature's romance.

I feel it on my skin, a tender embrace,

These little wonders, nature's sweet grace.

In the tranquil dusk, a magical sight,

I'm lost in the wonder of the night.

Cozy Spring Park

Hey, welcome to the park, where spring's in bloom,

Birds sing a sonnet, pinecones scattered, a natural costume.

Sunlight's tender glow, blankets the earth's embrace,

A haven of peace, where comfort finds its place.

Branches bud with dreams, hues of green unite,

Whispers in the breeze, a nature's flight.

Flowers sway in rhythm, yellow and white,

Cherry blossoms waltzing, in soft twilight's light.

As we walk through this haven, a serenity surrounds,

Sunlight's embrace, washing away life's bounds.

Anxious thoughts find refuge, in the park's embrace,

Restlessness dispelled, replaced by tranquil grace.

My Memories

After school in kindergarten, I vividly recall using a blue crayon to sketch that cantaloupe. My grandmother, with an endless stream of praise, told me how wonderful my drawing was. Following that, she delicately sliced the cantaloupe for me to savor. It was on that day that I distinctly differentiated between watermelon and cantaloupe.

At bedtime one evening, I lay in bed with my grandmother, and she waved a fan to keep me cool. I took the fan from her hand and started fanning myself while playing. The sound of the living room clock chimed, and my grandmother, with me who had just learned numbers, counted the chimes. That night, the clock struck 11 times.
