About Lora Qiu

Lora Qiu was born and raised in Shenzhen, China, and is currently based in both Shenzhen and Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 5, Lora drew a fish with a pencil and received praise from her grandparents. It was one that day that she developed a passion for drawing. Her work frequently explores childhood and life. In her picture books, her illustrations ingeniously bring the narrative to life, imbuing it with a distinct childlike charm. She now combines traditional media with digital in her work. She is currently earning a BFA in Illustration with a Printmaking minor from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
